1. Scope
This policy applies to paid JPRQ subscriptions, add-ons, and other paid digital products purchased from JPRQ. It works together with our Terms of Service, the checkout terms shown at purchase, Stripe's payment processing rules, and applicable law.
2. Free Trial and Free Tier
JPRQ may offer a free trial, free tier, or limited free features before paid subscription billing starts. Trial length, plan features, limits, renewal date, and pricing are shown before checkout. If you cancel before a trial converts to a paid subscription, you will not be charged.
3. Subscription Cancellations
You may cancel a subscription at any time through your JPRQ account billing page, the Stripe-powered billing portal where available, or by contacting JPRQ support at [email protected].
Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, you keep paid access until that period ends, and you will not be charged again unless you restart a subscription. We generally do not issue prorated refunds for unused time in a billing period unless required by law or stated in this policy.
4. First Paid Charge Refunds
You may request a refund of your first paid JPRQ subscription charge within 14 days after the charge. If approved, we will refund the paid subscription charge to the original payment method through Stripe.
This first-charge refund window is intended for customers who tried JPRQ in good faith and decide it is not a fit. We may decline refunds connected to abuse, fraud, chargeback misuse, prohibited activity, heavy use inconsistent with evaluation, or violation of the Terms of Service.
5. Renewal Refunds
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Renewal charges are generally not refundable after a new billing period begins.
We may approve a refund for an accidental renewal if you request it within 7 days after the renewal charge and there has been no material paid-feature use during the renewed period. We may also refund duplicate charges, mistaken charges, or charges caused by billing errors.
6. Technical Problems
If JPRQ does not work as expected, contact us at [email protected]. Include your account email, operating system, CLI or desktop version, tunnel command or workflow, and any error messages.
If a material JPRQ service problem prevents you from using paid features and we cannot reasonably resolve it, a refund, credit, or other remedy may be appropriate.
7. When Refunds May Be Declined
Refunds may be declined if:
- The request is outside the applicable refund window and no legal right to refund applies.
- The account violated the JPRQ Terms of Service or acceptable use rules.
- The request is connected to fraud, chargeback abuse, payment misuse, sanctions issues, or deceptive activity.
- The paid service was materially used and no technical defect, duplicate charge, billing mistake, or statutory right applies.
- The charge relates to custom work, enterprise arrangements, reserved resources, or third-party costs governed by separate written terms.
8. How Approved Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method when possible. Refunds may be full or partial depending on the circumstances. We cannot send a card refund to a different card, bank account, or payment method.
After a refund is issued, the refund may appear as a credit or as a reversal of the original charge. Banks and card issuers usually take additional time to make refunded funds available.
9. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you have a billing issue, contact JPRQ before opening a payment dispute. We can usually help faster with receipts, cancellations, duplicate charges, failed refunds, or account lookup.
If you open a chargeback or card dispute, JPRQ may submit evidence through Stripe. The card issuer or payment network decides the dispute outcome, and access to paid features may be limited while the dispute is pending.
10. Legal Rights
This policy does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights, statutory withdrawal rights, refunds for defective products, or other rights that apply under law. Where applicable law gives you stronger rights than this policy, those rights apply.
11. How to Request a Refund
Contact JPRQ at [email protected]. Include the email used for purchase, order or invoice number if available, subscription plan, charge date, and reason for the request. We may ask for additional details needed to verify the account or investigate the issue.
12. Contact
