1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of JPRQ, including the JPRQ website, dashboard, desktop app, CLI, public tunneling service, request inspection tools, and related services. By using JPRQ, you agree to these terms. If you use JPRQ for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
"JPRQ", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the supplier and operator of the JPRQ software and service. "You" and "your" refer to the person or organization using JPRQ.
2. Service Description
JPRQ exposes local development servers and TCP services to the public internet through temporary or reserved tunnel URLs. It may also provide a desktop interface, CLI workflow, request history, request inspection, custom subdomains, custom domains, and plan-based usage limits.
JPRQ is intended for development, testing, demos, webhooks, mobile device testing, and similar engineering workflows. It is not intended for illegal activity, abuse of third-party systems, or use as a permanent production hosting provider unless we expressly offer that use in a paid plan or written agreement.
3. Accounts and Access
You are responsible for keeping your account, device, API keys, license keys, and authentication tokens secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for all traffic routed through tunnels you create.
We may suspend or limit access if we reasonably believe your account or tunnels create security risk, violate these terms, exceed plan limits, interfere with the service, or expose us, users, Paddle, infrastructure providers, or third parties to legal or operational risk.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use JPRQ to:
- Break any law or regulation, or infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Host, transmit, route, test, or facilitate malware, credential theft, phishing, spam, bot activity, or fraudulent content.
- Expose systems or data that you do not have permission to expose.
- Bypass rate limits, usage limits, authentication, access controls, or payment requirements.
- Probe, scan, overload, disrupt, or reverse engineer JPRQ or infrastructure used to provide JPRQ.
- Use shared tunnel infrastructure for high-risk services, illegal content, abusive scraping, denial-of-service activity, or deceptive impersonation.
You remain responsible for the legality, safety, and configuration of local services you expose through JPRQ. Do not expose secrets, admin panels, private customer data, or internal services unless you understand and accept the risk.
5. Plans, Trials, and Limits
JPRQ may offer free trials, free tiers, paid subscriptions, business plans, or other product plans. Plan features, limits, prices, and trial periods are shown on the website or checkout before purchase. Usage limits may include tunnel count, domain features, devices, request history, bandwidth, support level, or other limits.
We may change free or trial features at any time. For paid subscriptions, material changes that reduce core paid functionality will take effect at the next renewal unless required sooner for legal, security, or operational reasons.
6. Purchases and Billing Through Paddle
When you purchase a paid JPRQ plan, you buy from Paddle as Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payments, tax, invoices, receipts, chargebacks, order support, cancellations, and refunds. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to purchases made through Paddle.
Subscription prices, renewal cadence, taxes, and total charges are shown before checkout. By starting a paid subscription, you authorize recurring billing until you cancel. You can manage Paddle order support through paddle.net.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again after cancellation. Access to paid features may continue until the end of the paid period unless Paddle or JPRQ states otherwise.
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, Paddle's buyer terms, and applicable consumer law. Except where required by law or Paddle's buyer terms, discretionary refund requests should be made within 24 hours of the first paid charge and may be approved as full or partial refunds. Refund requests should be sent through Paddle order support or to JPRQ support at [email protected].
8. Support
JPRQ provides product support by email at [email protected]. Paddle provides first-tier order support for payment, invoice, tax, cancellation, and refund questions related to paid orders.
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, JPRQ is provided without a guaranteed response time, uptime commitment, support service level, or error-free operation.
9. Customer Content and Tunnel Traffic
You retain rights to the applications, payloads, files, requests, responses, logs, and other content you route through JPRQ. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
Tunnel traffic may include personal data or confidential information depending on what you expose. You are responsible for obtaining rights and permissions needed to process that data through JPRQ and for configuring your local services appropriately.
10. Intellectual Property
JPRQ, including its software, website, designs, logos, documentation, and service infrastructure, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for rights expressly granted to you, we retain all rights in JPRQ.
Some JPRQ components may be provided under open source licenses. Those licenses apply to the relevant components and do not change these terms for hosted services, paid plans, or proprietary assets.
11. Third-Party Services
JPRQ may depend on third-party services such as authentication providers, hosting providers, analytics providers, email providers, support tools, and Paddle for checkout and order support. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms and policies.
12. Disclaimers
JPRQ is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise that JPRQ will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, compatible with every network, or suitable for every use case.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JPRQ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, service interruption, or security incidents arising from your use of JPRQ.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to JPRQ is limited to the amount you paid for JPRQ during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material for paid users, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users. Continued use of JPRQ after an update means you accept the updated terms.
15. Contact
Questions about these terms, product support, or JPRQ account issues should be sent to [email protected]. Order, payment, tax, receipt, cancellation, and refund questions for Paddle orders may also be handled through paddle.net.
